ASSEMBLE WITH CARE

I was an artist in the first design phase of UsTwo Games Assemble With Care. Lead Game Designer Lea Schonfelder did the first sketch below- she had a strong concept around functionality, general color scheme, etc. We wanted to bring the visuals of the game towards something that felt less ‘gamey’, without the shelf. I put together the moodboard, and designed a screen based around top down purse haul images on Instagram, where all objects are arranged and photographed in a rectangle. This was then translated by myself and artists Max Van Der Mewe and Fen Beatty into the first 3D prototype. From there, I moved on to work at Apple, and Art director Chris Cox and the rest of the UsTwo team brought it to its final BAFTA nominated form. It was great being around for this projects early phases and seeing what it became!
